Sri Walis provides the top graded fresh and frozen premium durians from the durian orchard in Malaysia. Durian should meet certain hygiene standards before being exported to North America. The process of preparing durains for exporting was interesting.
First of all, durians with good quality will be selected and placed in a container. Fresh fruits are cleaned, brushed and washed to remove dust and dirt at the processing plant. Then, exposing them to liquid nitrogen at -100℃ by using the Cryogenic Nitrogen Freezing technology. This is to ensure the freshness of the durians, make sure it still tastes good while arriving in North America. Nitrified fruits can be preserved for up to 18 months. The process of Cryogenic Nitrogen Freezing takes around 70 minutes.
When it comes to packaging, Sri Walis used vacuum packaging. Each durian was packed individually instead of a box. To ensure the durians have a long shelf life and be packaged well to protect them during the international transportation process, each vacuum packaging durian was then placed in a styrofoam box. Additionally, a label with the species of the durians will be attached on the styrofoam box. Is significant to label the species of durian so it wouldn't be mixed up. Also it can be easily found if needed. The final step of the process is loading into the truck. Sri Walis partners with the best logistic provider so as to maintain the freshness of the durian during the transportation process. We deliver as soon as possible to North America once durian is packed on the collection spot.
It is always inconvenient to get out of the city, go through security check, customs stamps, wait for the delays, do it again when it arrives in North America, a few days will pass. When the durians arrive in North America, they will receive a fresh durian frozen in nitrogen. After defrosting, the durian is ready to be served. Frozen durian tastes richer as compared to what we normally eat.
Sri Walis handles the shipping of Malaysia durian to the United States, Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, etc. We guarantee that our company's durian fruit processing and export meet the import requirements and procedures for bringing durian into North America.
